Eagle Gkiza is a dynamic young architecture studio established by James Eagle and Anna Gkiza in 2014. Based in York and London, the studio undertakes work of varying typologies throughout the UK and abroad for private and commercial clients. We place strong emphasis on a research based design process, refraining from preconceiving a project prior to thoroughly investigating its unique circumstances. Consequently our architecture dovetails seamlessly into its physical, cultural and ecological context, alongside strongly resonating with our clients' requirements. What we feel further distinguishes our work, is due to being a small highly agile studio with interests positioned at the forefront of architectural research; alongside upholding an attention to detail, where appropriate we can deploy the latest computational environmental analysis, digital modelling script and fabrication techniques, alongside advising on the suitability of emergent materials and construction methodologies. Likewise coupling our collaborative approach with emerging and innovative technical expertise on our yorkshire doorstep, and our established contacts in London, yields highly imaginative yet practical architectural resolutions. We are also very approachable, feel free to call us to discuss your project.
Our full architectural services are tailored for the specifics of each project and are inclusive of; feasibility study, building surveying and conservation, design consultancy, planning and listed building consent applications, tender information packages, construction information packages, project management, digital modeling and fabrication consultancy, architectural research, physical maquettes, computational environmental analysis and ecological consultancy, landscape design, interior design, graphic design and property marketing material.
